Luanda, Angola, 24 June 2025 – On the margins of the U.S.–Africa Business Summit, the AfCFTA Secretary-General, H.E. Wamkele Mene, met with Mr. Alain Ebobissé, CEO of Africa50, to discuss collaboration between the AfCFTA Secretariat and Africa50.

The meeting focused on ongoing initiatives in trade facilitation, corridor development, and green industrialisation. Both parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening Africa’s trade-enabling infrastructure and supporting sustainable industrial growth aligned with AfCFTA objectives.
