Victoria, Seychelles, 5 March 2026 – The AfCFTA Secretariat, Quest Ghana Limited, and the Government of the Republic of Seychelles signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance Seychelles’ digital economy and digital trade under the AfCFTA.

The collaboration aims to position Seychelles as a competitive digital trade hub, enabling businesses to participate more effectively in the digital economy.

The partnership represents an important milestone in advancing a secure, seamless, and interoperable digital trade framework for Seychelles. It is expected to facilitate cross-border digital transactions, promote interoperability of systems and platforms, support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in accessing the AfCFTA market, and enhance regulatory cooperation and innovation.
