Accra, Ghana, 23 December 2025 – H.E. Wamkele Mene held discussions with Dr Jean Ngabitsinze, former Minister of Trade and Industry of Rwanda, on advancing the Continental Agricultural Trade Strategy, expanding regional market presence, unlocking climate-aligned financing, and strengthening the integration of insurance and risk management in agricultural trade.

The engagement reaffirmed a shared commitment to scaling intra-African trade, mobilising sustainable financing, and building resilient agricultural value chains that reduce external dependency and deliver tangible benefits for farmers, traders, and economies across the continent.
