15 September, Cairo, Egypt – On the margins of the 4th AfCFTA Ministerial Retreat and High-Level Dialogue with the private sector, H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, met with Mr. Omar Hejira, Secretary of State in charge of Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Their discussions centred on advancing the implementation of the AfCFTA and strengthening collaboration between Morocco’s Ministry of Commerce and the Secretariat, particularly in preparation for the AfCFTA Business Forum to be held in Marrakech on 11–12 December 2025.
