16 September, Cairo, Egypt – On the margins of the 17th Meeting of the AfCFTA Council of Ministers, H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, met with Mr. Seydina Aboubacar Sadikh Ndiaye, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Senegal. The discussions focused on collaboration with the Secretariat to develop a country programme for the implementation of the AfCFTA in Senegal, with particular emphasis on advocacy and awareness-raising initiatives for the Senegalese private sector.
