6 August, Lomé, Togo – H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, President of the Republic of Togo.
The engagement provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress of AfCFTA implementation and to exchange views on regional priorities. The Secretary-General expressed sincere appreciation for Togo’s steadfast support, reaffirmed through the country’s confirmation as host of Biashara Afrika 2025, scheduled for later this year.
