Abuja, Nigeria, 28 June 2025 – At the margins of AAM 2025 in Abuja, H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary‑General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, met with Dr Dame Adaora Umeoji, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank PLC.

Their discussions centred on SMART AfCFTA, a digital tool jointly developed by Zenith Bank and the AfCFTA Secretariat to bolster SME participation in the AfCFTA implementation process. The SMART AfCFTA platform is scheduled to launch later this year.
