Accra, Ghana – 9 December 2024: H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, met with Mr. Topias Tamminen, Deputy Head of Mission of Finland to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, at the AfCFTA Secretariat in Accra, Ghana. 

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss key priorities, including digital inclusion, green industrialisation, and trade facilitation. H.E. Mene underscored the pivotal role of the AfCFTA in advancing these objectives to promote sustainable development and deepen economic integration across the African continent. 

The discussions highlighted the growing importance of collaboration between Africa and international partners in addressing shared challenges and leveraging opportunities for innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth. Both parties expressed their commitment to fostering partnerships that contribute to Africa’s transformative agenda.
