Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 9 November 2024-The Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, H.E. Wamkele Mene, held several meetings with representatives of African Union Member States to address critical issues related to the negotiations and implementation of the AfCFTA Agreement.

Among the delegations H.E. Mene met with were the Minister of Industry and Trade of Tanzania and Chairperson of the AfCFTA Council of Ministers responsible for Trade, Dr. Selemani Jafo, and the Minister of Trade of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Mr. Ahmed Bashir Ami Amar. These discussions centred on advancing the integration of the AfCFTA framework and enhancing regional cooperation across the continent.
