AfCFTA Secretary-General Receives British High Commissioner to Strengthen Cooperation on AfCFTA Implementation

Accra, Ghana, 18 March 2026 – H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), received H.E. Christian Rogg, British High Commissioner to Ghana, during a courtesy visit to the AfCFTA Secretariat in Accra.

During the meeting, the Secretary-General provided an update on the progress of AfCFTA implementation and expressed appreciation to the Government of the United Kingdom for its continued support through TradeMark Africa and ODI.

H.E. Rogg reaffirmed the United Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the successful implementation of the AfCFTA.
