Accra, Ghana, 24 March 2026 – The AfCFTA Secretariat has invited journalists across Africa to participate in its maiden Quarterly Media Webinar, aimed at strengthening media understanding of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Agreement and its implementation.

The webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of the AfCFTA Agreement, its protocols, and the opportunities it presents, while offering practical insights into what implementation means for African economies, businesses, and citizens.

As Africa’s trade agenda transitions from negotiations to implementation, the Secretariat underscored the critical role of the media in shaping informed narratives, enhancing public awareness, and amplifying the impact of continental integration.

The one-day virtual session is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 31 March 2026 at 10:00 AM GMT and is open to journalists across the continent covering trade, business, economics, and development.
