Marrakech, Morocco, 11 December 2025 – The African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat convened a masterclass on Making the AfCFTA a Reality in Marrakech, bringing together youth entrepreneurs and trading companies for targeted capacity building on market access, cross-border trade, and the practical dynamics of trading under the AfCFTA.

The session provided practical insights into navigating continental markets and addressed key challenges related to payment and settlement systems, supporting participants’ readiness to engage effectively in intra-African trade. The masterclass was held on the margins of the second edition of the AfCFTA Business Forum.

The engagement reaffirmed the AfCFTA Secretariat’s commitment to advancing inclusive trade and deepening youth participation in AfCFTA implementation, recognising young entrepreneurs as critical drivers of Africa’s trade and industrial transformation.
