AfCFTA Secretariat Participates in the 3rd Financing Summit for Africa’s Infrastructure Development

Luanda, Angola, 31 October 2025. The AfCFTA Secretariat participated in the 3rd Financing Summit for Africa’s Infrastructure Development, held from 28 to 31 October 2025 in Luanda, Angola.

During the session themed “The Lobito Corridor: Driving Africa’s Connectivity, Trade, and Transformation,” the Secretariat shared insights on its ongoing work using the corridor approach. It underscored how the Lobito Corridor can leverage AfCFTA trade facilitation instruments, including the Single Transit Guarantee Bond and the Electronic Certificate of Origin, to advance regional integration and boost intra-African trade.

We are pleased to announce that the application review process has been completed. This year’s program attracted a large number of high-quality applications from startups across Africa, resulting in a highly competitive selection process.

Selected startups have been notified individually via email. Detailed information regarding the upcoming Global Audition Evaluation will be shared with them separately.
