15 September, Cairo, Egypt – On the margins of the 4th AfCFTA Ministerial Retreat, H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, met with Honourable Gibolo Fanga Mathieu, Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Chad. Discussions focused on the convening of the Private Sector and Youth in Trade Roundtable for the Central African Region, scheduled to take place in N’Djamena in November 2025.

The Secretary-General reiterated the Secretariat’s full commitment to supporting Chad in its AfCFTA implementation process.
