Ibadan, Nigeria, 9 June 2025-The Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, H.E. Wamkele Mene, concluded a two-day working visit to Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, where he was received by Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde and senior members of his administration.
The visit provided an opportunity to engage key investors and explore avenues for strategic collaboration between the AfCFTA Secretariat and Oyo State. Discussions reaffirmed a shared commitment to strengthening sub-sovereign partnerships as critical enablers of Africa’s trade and investment agenda.
