Afreximbank in collaboration with the Barbados government will be holding an Africa-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum in Barbados, from 1-3 September 2022. The main goal of the Africa-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF) will be to provide a platform for a strategic partnership between the business communities in Africa and the CARICOM Region with the objective of fostering bilateral cooperation and engagement in trade, investment, technology transfer, innovation, tourism and other services. The Forum will also be used as a vehicle to actively promote trade and investment opportunities among people of the Caribbean, Africa and the wider diaspora which will contribute to the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) and to the Caribbean trade agenda.
