Mandate of DIMPC
Develop and Strengthen the Institutional Capacity of the Secretariat and AfCFTA Institutions for effective Implementation of the AfCFTA Agreement;
Ensure Harmonization of AfCFTA Activities and Alignment of Departmental Priorities with AfCFTA Vision, Mission and Strategy;
Ensure Coordination of AfCFTA Institutional Meetings/Collaboration with the AUC/Organs /Institutions /Regional Economic Communities and National AfCFTA Implementation Committees;
Coordinate Stakeholders Engagement and Ensure Inclusiveness of Women and Youth & MSMEs in the Implementation of the AfCFTA;
Undertake Policy Review, Institutional Capacity Development and Research;
Design and develop innovative programs and projects to assist the State Parties & non-State Parties in the negotiation of outstanding issues; and
Mobilize Resources to support AfCFTA Implementation and Ensure Coordination of Partners and Reporting on Achievements.
