It is a formal announcement, providing transparency to the public and informing stakeholders (such as businesses, organizations, and citizens) of the new regulations in force towards the last steps of implementation of the Agreement. This gives traders clarity and confirmation of applicable preferential treatment with their goods upon importation in line to their tariff commitments under the AfCFTA regime.
