Tamale, Ghana, 17 October 2025. The AfCFTA Secretariat unveiled Creatives Connect Afrika, a new platform designed to bridge creativity and opportunity across the continent under the AfCFTA framework.
The launch marked a significant milestone for Africa’s creative industry, empowering artists, designers, filmmakers, and innovators to trade, collaborate, and expand their reach across borders.
Implemented in partnership with the Bank of Southern Enterprises Ghana and Africa Tourism Partners, the initiative focused on investing in skills, building creative infrastructure, and supporting sustainable growth in Africa’s cultural economy. It also set the stage for the AfCFTA Tourism, Creative and Cultural Industries Forum, scheduled to take place from 24 to 26 November in Accra.
