Accra, Ghana, 24 March 2025 – H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, received the Director of African Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea for a courtesy visit focused on strengthening strategic cooperation.

The Republic of Korea reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the implementation of the AfCFTA through joint programmes and collaborative initiatives. The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore upcoming engagements, including high-level forums, aimed at deepening the partnership.

H.E. Mene expressed appreciation for the Republic of Korea’s continued support and emphasised the importance of fostering strategic partnerships that contribute to the realisation of the AfCFTA’s objectives.
