Accra, Ghana, 24 March 2025 – H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, received a delegation from the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), led by its President, Mr. Stephane Miezan.

The delegation presented key projects and engaged in discussions on the critical role of the private sector in driving the implementation of the AfCFTA.

H.E. Mene highlighted the mechanisms and tools developed to support the operationalisation of the Agreement by the private sector, and reiterated the Secretariat’s readiness to collaborate with the GNCCI and the broader African business community to accelerate inclusive trade across the continent.
