Accra, Ghana – 7 January 2025: H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, held a productive meeting with H.E. President William Ruto of the Republic of Kenya in Ghana. Discussions focused on advancing the Africa Green Industrialisation Initiative (AGII), African Union (AU) reforms, and fostering trade and investment growth by engaging the private sector. These efforts aim to drive tangible benefits for Africa and accelerate progress toward Agenda 2063 and the implementation of the AfCFTA.
