Accra, Ghana – 7 January 2025: H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat, received Mr. Thomas Thompson Essel, Secretary-General of the African Rural and Agricultural Credit Association (AFRACA), at the AfCFTA Secretariat. The meeting provided an opportunity to explore avenues for collaboration between AFRACA and the AfCFTA Secretariat. Discussions underscored the pivotal role of trade in fostering sustainable food systems and highlighted the AfCFTA’s potential as a catalyst for trade liberalisation across the continent.
