Following, the meeting of the Committee of Senior Trade Officials (STOs) which was convened in Accra, Ghana and virtually (hybrid format) and attended by State and non-State Parties from the 3rd to the 5th of October, 2022, the 10th Meeting of the Council of Ministers Responsible for Trade Under the AfCFTA was held.
H.E. Mahamadou Issoufou, was received by H.E. Wamkele Mene at the Accra International Conference Centre. The distinguished Champion of the AfCFTA delivered a keynote address in which he reiterated the importance of the continental integration agenda. The agenda for the meeting was the consideration of the Report of the Twelfth (12th) Meeting of the Committee of Senior Trade Officials (STOs) as well as to receive a report from H.E. Wamkele Mene, the Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat on the launch of the Guided Trade Initiative.
